SPECIAL INVITATION
Members of all religions and believes are cordially invited to 3rd World Religions Conference in the city of Brooks.

The topic of this year's conference is: Life After Death

Program Agenda:

Doors Opening & Refreshment: 5:00 pm
Program Commencement: 5:30 pm
Questions & Answer: 6:45 pm
Conclusion: 7:30 pm

Representatives of various religions of the world will be presenting their perspectives on the topic.
Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions as well.
Exhibion material and information brocures will be on display for the participants.

SPEAKER PROFILES

Oren Steinitz
(Jewish Perspective)

Oren Steinitz holds two degrees in Middle East Studies from the Ben-Gurion University, Israel, and is currently a PhD student at the University of Calgary's Interdisciplinary Graduate Program, concentrating on Jewish and Islamic religious web sites.
In his previous university, he founded and led a Jewish egalitarian prayer group for three years. He also worked as a teacher in the Conservative Movement's "Bar/Bat Mitzvah for the Special Child" program.
Oren and his wife, Adar - a U of C’s PhD student as well - moved to Calgary in August 2007.

Muhammad Ashraf Arif
(Islamic Perspective)

Muhammad Ashraf Arif has devoted his life for the betterment of community and propagation of Islam. After graduating in Islamic Studies from Ahmadiyya Muslim University in Rabwah, Pakistan, he severed in various cities of Pakistan.
Before coming to Canada in 1993, he has severed as National President and Missionary In-Charge in Liberia and Guatemala. He has also served in Sierra-leone for many years.
He was appointed to Calgary in 1995 and has been serving as Regional Missionary of Western Canada. Currently he is serving the community as Imam in Baitun Nur Mosque Calgary, the largest mosque in Canada.

Pastor Wagdi Iskander
(Christian Perspective)

A life of international experience, Wagdi Iskander currently ministering at the Arabic Alliance in Calgary, ordained since 1991 with Doctorate in Ministry from Langley Theological Seminary, Masters Degree from Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary in Cochrane and Bachelor Degree in Theology from Prairie Bible Institute.
An international speaker across the world, Iskander has a focus on outreach and evangelism. With decent, Iskander comes with a wealth of knowledge and an experience with truth.

Rattan Singh Parmar
(Sikh Perspective)

Before immigrating to Canada in 1984, Rattan Singh Parmar served Indian Army for 36 years. He is actively involved in writing articles and author of 3 books on Sikhism. Mr. Parmar is director of Heart of NE Community Solution Resource Center.
He is member of Royal Canadian Legion and honored guard of CMM (Calgary Military Museum). He arranges religious tours for bringing different faiths together.
