This semester the Ahmadiyya Muslim Students Association (AMSA) of McMaster invites you to learn about one of the most controversial and heavily discussed topics within the Islamic Tradition - the advent of the Imam Mahdi.
The Holy Prophet (saw) himself spoke repeatedly on this topic and even described in detail the signs by which to recognize the Imam Mahdi, his distinguishing characteristics, and the magnificent role he would play in restoring the purity, beauty, and glory of the true Islamic teachings across the world, for all to see.
Come and hear for yourself the signs and indicators that were foretold to signal the advent of the Imam Mahdi, and learn about an individual who claims to be that great Mahdi himself.
This is a unique event, the first of its kind on campus, in which a scholar from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community will not only answer all your queries, but will outline and discuss many topics related to this issue - purely on the basis of the Holy Quran and Ahadith - including:
The signs of the advent of the Imam Mahdi
The relationship between Jesus (as) and the Imam Mahdi
The role the Imam Mahdi would play in changing the fortunes of Islam and rescuing it from a great decline
The nature and details of the identity of the Dajjal
How the Imam Mahdi would defeat the Dajjal
The validity of any persons who have claimed to be the Imam Mahdi
Along with an extended Question/Answer session to ask the questions you've been wondering about for years, plenty of quality literature on the topic will be available on site.
