Ahmadiyya Muslim Annual Convention (Jalsa Salana) is the premier event of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. The Promised Messiah (as) founded the institution of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Annual Convention (Jalsa Salana) in 1891 and since then it has been held on national as well as international levels in various countries of the world.
In Canada, the national convention is held every year, in the Greater Toronto Area. This year the 35th Ahmadiyya Muslim Annual Convention is scheduled to be held on July 1-3, 2011 at the International Centre, Mississauga. Approximately 15,000 delegates are expected to attend the event.
National, provincial and municipal leaders, diplomats, academics, journalists and community leaders will attend our convention during the concluding session on Sunday, July 3. Please join us on this session, which will be followed by a banquet lunch in honour of the friends of the community.
