Come join the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in celebrating Islamic Heritage Month! On Thursday, October 6th, we’ll be holding a public exhibition in Ottawa City Hall from 1:00 pm-8:00 pm. Drop by anytime! The exhibition will feature a Quran exhibit, Arabic calligraphy, free henna application, a booth where you can try on hijabs, exhibits of Islamic artifacts, books by prominent Muslims, an exhibit to showcase the humanitarian work done by Canadian Muslims, and food! We hope you can join us for this day of celebration, community building, and learning. For more information, please email Faheem.Affan@Ahmadiyya.ca or visit us at IslamicHeritageMonth.org.
At 3:15 pm, many dignitaries and politicians will be visiting the exhibition, including Mayor Jim Watson of Ottawa, many members of parliament, some ministers, opposition leaders, local MPPs, city councilors, ambassadors and High commissioners, and local area faith leaders. The media will be invited at that time.
